Suspension & Coilovers
Plan a coilover upgrade around safety and fitment.
GhostCore is evaluating mobile installation of commercially manufactured, vehicle-compatible coilover assemblies and selected bolt-on suspension components. Each proposed job requires a suitable, lawfully permitted customer driveway, verified equipment and technician capability, manufacturer procedures, and written scope approval. This is a planned service, not an available appointment.
What to expect
A clear scope before work begins.
Included where applicable
- Assessment of vehicle-specific coilover and suspension-part compatibility
- Review of complete prefabricated assemblies, mounting hardware and manufacturer instructions
- Installation planning for eligible bolt-on suspension components only
- Documented post-installation safety checks and required alignment or calibration referrals
Important limits
- Safety-critical work is not accepted without verified training, tools, safe lifting and support, adequate surface conditions, and suitable insurance
- Work may require professional wheel alignment, ride-height checks, headlamp aiming or driver-assistance calibration before road use
- No fabrication, welding, cutting springs, structural modification, or unsupported suspension engineering
- Driveway-only customization: no apartment or workplace parking lots, curbside or roadway work
- Vehicle-specific clearance, brake lines, ABS wiring and fastener procedures must be verified; unserviceable or unsafe work is declined
Pricing approach
Proposed eligible installation labor follows the published $165/hour standard rate with a $165 minimum. Parts, hardware, travel, taxes, alignment, calibrations and any third-party work are reviewed separately. No quote or installation is offered until fitment, capability, insurance, worksite and authorization requirements are met.
Service questions
Before you schedule.
Can every vehicle receive coilovers at home?
No. The vehicle, suspension design, condition, required tooling, safe lifting/support, available worksite and insurance determine whether mobile installation is appropriate. Some jobs must go to a properly equipped facility.
Is wheel alignment included?
Do not assume so. Alignment and calibration may be necessary after a suspension change and must be independently arranged and documented where required. A vehicle should not be represented as road-ready before those checks.
